And Crucible of Gold just makes it better...

<spoilers>Arm nearly torn off as the ship he's on explodes, almost married off to an empress (despite his objections and homosexuality), having that same arm amputated after it gets gangrenous, and all the while being dragged through new and exciting wilderness full of new and exciting things that want to kill him.</spoilers>

Now let's see if they can drag him back to China! Though given his history, he'd probably be safer leading a one-dragon assault on France...
