Hmm, Dragonlance... I've only read two series of these books, the ones with the freaking cool crazy mage, Rastlin. I never heard of the other ones, exept for one, but my mom said it was really bad so I never read it. Lovely piccie by teh way...

Amber and Ashes did have one redeeming factor in its favor: the gods. They were just too funny!

Squeeeeeeeee!!!! 's Palin! He's my fave too. I totally understand your aggravation though.... I can't stand Usha, she's such a waste of a character. I think he should have married a female mage or fighter type. And as for giving up the magic - I can't believe he did that. The writers seriously screwed up his character. The young Palin would have never even thought of such a thing!

oh yeah, I recently read Amber&Ashes but found it disappointing in a whole. Only Nuitari made me go all "whee" at the end. Even Rhys Mason just seemed a desperate attempt to recreate the idea of a similar but yet different character than Raistlin Majere...like getting far far away from him as possible. A bit pathetic. Eh.

As for your picture, I love it to bits. It's a cute hairdo you chose for him, I'd never think about such a thing! He looks so cute~
And yes, I loved him too when he was all "Oh, uncle. Train me. Magic, ambition!" then was unsatisfied when he married Usha but felt great satisfaction when they broke his fingers and he went all bitter just like his uncle. After that? A sharp curve downwards. Sorry for talking too much about it all
